New BML Magnetic Linear Encoder System from BALLUFF "Precise and real-time feedback"
With their new, high-precision incremental magnetic linear encoder system Balluff has added an additional operating principle to the product line. Intensive development has resulted in a trouble-free product featuring extraordinary resolution down to 1 µm and system accuracy of ± 10 µm over a maximum measuring distance of 48 meters.
Balluff BIS M meets both standards ISO 14443 and 15693 "Selectable"
Automated production and assembly places a variety of demands on RFID systems, especially in terms of the required detection ranges. In systems operating at a transmission frequency of 13.56 MHz, short and longer ranges are achieved using different data carrier technologies which are defined in separate standards. BIS M meets both standards by means of user-set parameters. The BALLUFF BIS M Identification System meets the requirements of both ISO 14443 and ISO 15693.
RFID technology from BALLUFF with Industrial Ethernet "Plug and play onto the network"
Identification systems based on industrial-rated RFID technology are becoming increasingly common in automated production and assembly. BALLUFF now offers a variety of Industrial Ethernet solutions for all four of their RFID families.
New sensor mount for Balluff slot sensors "Hard to handle?"
Slot sensors are generally mounted by means of user-constructed holders. Since they need to be made individually, these mounting devices tend to be expensive and time-consuming to produce. The application flexibility of slot sensors means new holders for every situation. Now all sensor sizes can be accommodated using just two mounting bars, reducing the time required for installing and positioning slot sensors to a minimum.
New fiber optic base units BASIC - ADVANCED - PREMIUM
With their series BFB 75K Balluff introduces three new fiber optic base units using red light. The devices are designed for DIN rail mount. The fiber optic base units are available in the Basic model with an 8-bit converter and a switching frequency of 1.5 kHz, and an Advanced model with display for demanding applications and fast processes. Here the signal is processed with 12 bits and a switching frequency of 8 kHz. The Premium version also features an analog output.
Balluff Globalprox "Everything from one source"
The name Globalprox covers a new, full-feature, globally available product line of inductive sensors from Balluff. A wide range of standard sensors, with everything from a single source. Whether M8, M12, M18 or M30, whether 3-wire or 2-wire - every version, housing size and international standard is available anywhere in the world. By adding unshielded types with extended switching distance, the offering of new sensors has been considerably expanded, with all the global standard approvals such as CCC, CULUS and CE.
Balluff BOS 5K photoelectric sensor "Now also with background suppression"
This sensor is particularly suited for tight mounting conditions. It is one of the most rugged sensors in its class, and cannot be damaged by overtightening. Its 6-turn potentiometer enables precise switching point setting. Discrimination between object and background is precise and color-independent.
Balluff BOS 18M laser diffuse sensor with high-precision background suppression
With their BOS 18M Balluff offers the most precise sensor with laser background suppression in tubular housing on the market. The highly visible, narrow light beam can even look through small holes and makes the sensor interesting for applications in small parts detection down to 0.1 mm, such as in wire detection. How precise the background suppression is can be seen in the fact that even the thickness of a business card can be identified. Detection is accurate without respect to color. With 6% gray value shift the background can even be brighter than the actual object.
