Das neue RFID-System in Back-Scattering-Technologie nutzt RFID-Etiketten nach dem EPC Gen2 Standard als Transponder. Unbegrenzte Schreib-/Lesezyklen sorgen für eine flexible und schnelle Kommunikation auch bei hochdynamischen Anwendungen. Ideale Einsatzgebiete sind deshalb unter anderem die Fördertechnik und Intralogistik, die Automobilindustrie und ihre Autozulieferer, also überall dort, wo größere Entfernungen von bis zu 6 Metern zu überbrücken sind.
Bei hoher Geschwindigkeit lassen sich im dynamischen Betrieb mit BIS U sowohl einzeln als auch im Pulk die Informationen der Tags dank zirkulär polarisierter Antennen in der Regel unabhängig von ihrer räumlichen Ausrichtung auslesen. Das System ist nicht nur kinderleicht zu parametrisieren, sondern genauso einfach in übergeordnete Systeme zu integrieren. Dabei garantiert die frei wählbare Sendeleistung eine bequeme Adaption an jede Applikation. Die Base-Unit im robusten Metallgehäuse verfügt über gut sichtbare Status-LEDs, vier Antennenanschlüsse, über eine RS 232- oder TCP/IP-Schnittstelle mit Bajonettverschluss sowie E/A-Ports für zusätzliche Funktionalitäten.
