Bauer Gear Motor has appointed Nader Halmuschi as its new managing director. He will take the reins in hand after Karl-Peter Simon announces his intention to retire.
The appointment comes in a difficult economic climate, not unlike the one in 2009, when Karl-Peter Simon took over the role himself. Bauer Gear Motor, part of Altra Industrial Motion Corporation, has used the past few months to plan the change in management and to appoint a successor who has the necessary experience and technical knowledge for the position.
“The recent events will certainly increase the challenges of this position,” explains Halmuschi, “but thanks to the good planning around my appointment, I will have time to work at Karl-Peter Simon's side before he goes into well-deserved retirement . "
