Börsenrat bestellt Andreas Schmidt und Jochen Thiel als Geschäftsführer der Börse München

Der Börsenrat der Börse München unter dem Vorsitzenden Uto Baader hat in der Sitzung vom 15. November 2012 Andreas Schmidt für weitere fünf Jahre in seinem Amt als Geschäftsführer der Börse München bestätigt. Neu bestellt wurde mit Wirkung zum 1.1.2013 Jochen Thiel. Er tritt zum gleichen Zeitpunkt neben Andreas Schmidt sein Amt als Vorstand der Bayerischen Börse AG, dem Träger der öffentlich-rechtlichen Börse München, an.

Der Vorsitzende des Börsenrates der Börse München, Uto Baader, dankte Andreas Schmidt für seinen großen Einsatz für die Börse München: Schmidt ist seit 18 Jahren an der Börse München tätig, davon 15 Jahre als Geschäftsführer. Somit tritt er von 2013 bis 2018 seine vierte Amtszeit an.

Für den gleichen Zeitraum ist Jochen Thiel, bis Mitte 2012 Geschäftsführer der Berliner Tradegate Exchange und Head of Retail Trading and Partner Exchanges der Deutschen Börse AG, zum Geschäftsführer der Börse München bestellt. Thiel ist Nachfolger von Dr. Christine Bortenlänger auch in der Funktion als Vorstand der Bayerischen Börse AG. Die Börsenaufsichtsbehörde, das Bayerische Staatsministerium für Wirtschaft, Infrastruktur, Verkehr und Technologie, hatte bereits vorab ihr Einvernehmen zur Bestellung beider Geschäftsführer erteilt.
