Mobile Kommunikation und Social Media bieten große Chancen für Zeitungen

BDZV-Expertentagung "Zeitungen machen mobil"

Der mobile Zugang zu Information und Social Media ist nach Auffassung des Bundesverbands Deutscher Zeitungsverleger (BDZV) eine große Herausforderung bei der Weiterentwicklung des Digitalgeschäfts der Verlage. Immer mehr Menschen nutzen die mobilen Zeitungsangebote auf Ihren Smartphones und immer mehr Nutzer kommen über soziale Netzwerke wie Facebook, Twitter, StudiVZ auf die Webseiten der Verlage. "Das bringt den Zeitungen einen enormen Reichweitenzuwachs und im mobilen Bereich auch zusätzliche Erlöse", sagte der Leiter des Geschäftsbereichs Kommunikation + Multimedia, Hans-Joachim Fuhrmann, heute in Berlin anlässlich einer Expertentagung des BDZV zum Thema "Zeitungen machen mobil". Mehr als 400 Zeitungstitel haben mittlerweile mobile Informations- und Serviceangebote und mehr als 250 Zeitungstitel nutzen soziale Netzwerke, vor allem Twitter und Facebook.
