Beak Consultants GmbH und die TU Bergakademie Freiberg starten ein Forschungsprojekt zur Prognose verdeckter Rohstofflagerstätten mit Verfahren der künstlichen Intelligenz. In dem auf zwei Jahre ausgelegten Vorhaben soll beispielhaft in einem Gebiet im Erzgebirge der Einsatz künstlicher neuronaler Netze für 3D-Prognosen von verdeckten Erzkörpern getestet werden. Die Ziele des Projektes bestehen damit sowohl in der Lagerstättenprognose und der Generierung von neuen Explorationszielen als auch in der deutlichen Erweiterung der Anwendbarkeit der bisher im 2D-Bereich sehr erfolgreichen advangeo® Prediction Software.

Das Projekt wird vom Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie gefördert.
