CTE XL Professional 2.9
The Classification Tree Editor CTE XL Professional, well-proven for extensive test case sequences, is presented with software version 2.9. The latest enhancements increase efficiency through simplifications with repeated test case usage. Now, a single test case can be referenced. This feature allows using single test sequences multiple times. The redundant provision of test steps is now obsolete. The "default of previous test step in test sequences" allows the automatic transfer of test step allocations from the corresponding predecessor. Adjustments are only necessary where the class selection changes within a classification from one test step to the next. To export data, test cases can now comfortably be activated or deactivated.
Test automation with MESSINA
Berner & Mattner provides many functional enhancements for its product deployed in the next step of the testers' tool chain: In version 3.5, the test platform MESSINA supports the import of Ldf files and the use of LIN hardware. The user interface of the software platform has an altered project structure and now provides an even better overview when using several test case notations. The expansion of the test platform with the robot system MESSINA RS now also allows to verify infotainment and interior electronics, besides AUTOSAR integration and test. With its flexibility for testing a variety of functions for several implementation variants, MESSINA RS impresses with reliable test execution and reproducible results. Thanks to the 24-hour use, a higher testing depth is achieved within a given period of time.
Presentation: Virtual integration and consistent MiL/SiL/HiL tests in ADAS function development
Juergen Schueling, Account Manager at Berner & Mattner Automotive, presents a solution path for optimizing test processes in the field of driver assistance development. By means of practical examples, he shows the advantages of model-based development, virtual integration and parallel MiL/SiL/HiL tests. Furthermore, various options are presented for validating complex ADAS systems with distributed functionality at an early development stage. Presentation: Tuesday, June 12, 11:55 am, Open Technology Forum. Information: http://www.berner-mattner.com/...
Award for outstanding thesis
The group "Test, analysis and verification of software" of Gesellschaft für Informatik (Computer Science Society) honors students for an outstanding thesis in the field of testing and quality assurance. The first prize of € 1,000, donated by Berner & Mattner, Siemens and Giesecke & Devrient, will be awarded to Sascha Lity at the Automotive Testing Expo on Wednesday, June 13, at 3 pm. He receives the award for his thesis "Design and evaluation of a delta-oriented model-based testing method for software product lines."
