These CPUs have a highly dynamic power consumption with sometimes extreme jumps in performance within a very short time. Thanks to a strong +12V single rail with 36A and the excellent control behavior for all output voltages, the robust switching power supply is optimally designed for the new requirement profiles of modern processors. The BEA-551K thus guarantees excellent control stability, even with demanding CPU power levels (PL2).

Robust design for demanding industrial applications
The BEA-551K was developed for operation under industrial conditions. It offers an extended temperature range of -10 to +70°C and works reliably even in environments with high temperature fluctuations. The outstanding quality of the power supply is based on the use of high-quality components, such as Japanese brand capacitors of grade +105°C, which ensure a significant extension of the service life even at high operating temperatures. The robust construction, including a through-plated FR4 circuit board, ensures stable solder connections and high mechanical resilience, even under the influence of shock and vibration.

High energy efficiency and international use
The energy-saving IPC power supply with a consistently high efficiency of up to 92.5% and a standby consumption of less than 0.5 W reduces energy consumption and helps to reduce operating costs. With its wide-range input of 90 to 264VAC and active power factor correction (PFC), the power supply is designed for worldwide use. In addition, the BEA-551K is certified according to the current safety standards EN/UL 62368-1 and CCC, which ensures a high level of operational safety. The precisely regulated outputs of the BEA-551K are equipped with protection functions against short circuits, overcurrent and overvoltage as standard to ensure additional operational safety. All ATX outputs (+3.3V, +5V, +12V, -12V and +5Vsb) do not require a base load.

Another feature of the BEA-551K is the cooling system with a well-thought-out arrangement of the power components and optimized thermal airflow management. Equipped with a ball-bearing branded fan that is temperature-controlled and has tachometer signal monitoring, the power supply offers reliable cooling even under full load. The fan control automatically adjusts the rotation speed of the fan to the operating temperature, which minimizes noise. Continuous monitoring of the fan also ensures high system availability and prevents potential failures, which is particularly important for 24/7 continuous operation in critical applications.

Excellent EMC properties and high immunity to interference
The BEA-551K impresses with excellent electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and meets the strict requirements of Class B according to EN55032:2015/AC:2016. This property makes it particularly suitable for use in industrial environments susceptible to interference. In addition, the power supply unit meets the standards EN 61000-6-2 for increased immunity to interference and EN 61000-6-4 for interference emissions in industrial environments. These properties ensure that the BEA-551K works stably and reliably even in industrial environments with strong electromagnetic interference.
