Ein Viertel der Bundesbürger fühlt sich bereits durch das Klingeln eines Handys belästigt. Wenn jemand seinen Laptop im Zug oder im Café nutzt, stört das mit vier Prozent hingegen kaum jemanden. Frauen zeigen sich dabei insgesamt sensibler als Männer. 42 Prozent der weiblichen Befragten fühlen sich durch lautes Telefonieren gestört, 38 Prozent durch Musik oder Videos. Bei den Männern sind es jeweils nur 30 Prozent. Das Vorurteil, dass gerade Senioren sich am ehesten über Musik in der Öffentlichkeit ärgern, konnte die Umfrage im Übrigen nicht bestätigen. Im Gegenteil: Für 41 Prozent in der jüngeren Generation (18 bis 29 Jahre) ist laute Musik ein Ärgernis, jedoch "nur" für 29 Prozent bei den über 60-Jährigen.
