As the market leader in the manufacture of refrigeration compressors, long-standing company BITZER SE has partially restructured the framework of management responsibilities. Helmut Meyer is the new Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.
Until recently, the 54-year-old was an authorized signatory with the title Director of Sales Transport at BITZER, specialist in refrigeration compressors. Helmut Meyer has also been Managing Director of BITZER subsidiary Lumikko Technologies Oy since March 2014. After his education in mechanical engineering, he completed a degree course in business administration with time spent abroad.

Peter Schaufler, Managing Director and CEO of BITZER SE. ‘He’s an old hand when it comes to sales. He’s worked in the BITZER sales team for over 13 years and helped to build our sales system in South and Central America.’
Dr Christian Wahlers, Chief Financial Officer, is leaving the company of his own accord, which is why BITZER is restructuring the management team. Senator h. c. Peter Schaufler will continue to manage the overall company as Chief Executive Officer. Jürgen Kleiner (Chief Procurement Officer) is currently responsible for global purchasing, and his duties will be extended to include finance and controlling in the future; Christian Wehrle (Chief Production Officer) will be responsible for production and the IT, HR and organisation departments; and Rainer Große-Kracht (Chief Technology Officer) will head development and technology.
