Stromsparen ist angesagt: alle Touch Panel PCs der TPC-x71H-Serie von Advantech arbeiten mit einem Intel Atom D525 Prozessor mit 1,8GHz, und auch das LED Backlight des Bildschirms ist ganz auf minimalen Energieverbrauch getrimmt.

An ein rauhes, im Dauerbetrieb arbeitendes industrielles Umfeld sind die lüfterlosen All-in-one Geräte gewöhnt: sie bringen sogar von Haus aus 8 digitale I/O-Kanäle mit. Erweitert wurden sie zudem um einen Mini-PCI- und einen PCIe-Steckplatz.

Ab Werk sind 2GB Hauptspeicher vorgesehen, optional kann (ab TPC-1071H) eine 2,5Zoll SATA Festplatte eingebaut werden. An Schnittstellen stehen RS-232 (COM1), RS-422/485 (COM2) sowie 2 USB-2.0 Anschlüsse zur Verfügung. Ins Netz gehen sie mit 1 oder 2 10/100/1000Base-T-Interfaces.

Die Maschinen der TPC-x71H Serie gibt es in folgenden Bildschirmgrößen: TPC-671H (6", VGA mit 640x800), TPC-1071H (10,4", SVGA mit 800x600px), TPC-1271H (12,1", SVGA mit 800x600px), TPC-1571H (15" XGA mit 1024x768px). Alle haben resistive Touchscreens mit einer Backlight-Lebensdauer von 50.000 Stunden.
