Die Marke BMW meldete im Januar 77.156 Verkäufe und hat damit im Monatsvergleich das Niveau des Vorjahresmonats (80.458) um 4,1% unterschritten. Die Markteinführung von BMW 1er Cabrio und BMW X6 steht kurz bevor. Unter anderem diese neuen Modelle werden in den nächsten Monaten für positive Dynamik bei der Absatzentwicklung sorgen.
MINI Erfolgsgeschichte geht weiter
Die Marke MINI konnte ihr Absatzvolumen im Januar um 13,3% auf 15.432 Automobile erhöhen (Vj.: 13.618). Ausstattungsniveau und Produktmix sind nach wie vor hochwertig: 36% der Kunden entschieden sich im Januar für den MINI Cooper, beim Spitzenmodell Cooper S waren es 27%, bei der Dieselvariante Cooper D 23% und beim MINI One 14%. Beim Vergleich der Karosserievarianten liegt der klassische MINI mit 75% vorn. Auf Platz zwei folgt mit 16% der neue MINI Clubman und auf das Cabrio entfallen 9%. Weiteren Rückenwind für den MINI Absatz wird sich aus der Markteinführung des Clubman in diesem Monat auf dem größten MINI Markt, den USA, ergeben.
Mit einem Plus von 64,0% gegenüber dem Vorjahresmonat ist Rolls-Royce mit dem prozentual höchsten Absatzwachstum ins neue Jahr gestartet. Im Januar wurden 41 Phantom in Kundenhand übergeben (Vj.: 25).
Stefan Krause, Mitglied des Vorstands der BMW AG mit Zuständigkeit für Vertrieb und Marketing: "2008 wird die BMW Group ihre Spitzenposition als weltweit führender Premiumhersteller einmal mehr behaupten. Wir haben uns wieder viel vorgenommen und streben neue Absatzrekorde bei allen drei Marken an."
Im Segment Motorrad liegen die Kundenauslieferungen im abgelaufenen Monat bei 3.689 Einheiten (Vj.: 4.151/-11,1%). Auch im Segment Motorräder gilt für das Gesamtjahr das Ziel, weiter zu wachsen.
