Equipped with the latest Intel® Core™ Alder Lake System-on-a-Chip (SoC), the BOXER-6646-ADP benefits from a hybrid CPU architecture with up to 12 cores as well as 16 threads. In addition, the box PC includes Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics and supports dual-channel DDR5 memory. Despite a compact form factor, the embedded system offers comprehensive interface options such as digital I/O, multiple 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet ports, four video outputs (HDMI and DisplayPorts) and three USB 3.2 Gen2 slots. An externally accessible expansion tray can be used for removable 2.5-inch SATA hard drives. Access to memory, M.2 3052, M.2 2280 and M.2 2230 slots is provided via screwed access panels on the bottom side of the hardware. This allows the embedded PCs to be retrofitted with 5G, Wi-Fi or NVMe modules.
The BOXER-6646-ADP is a flexible general-purpose solution that meets a wide range of industrial requirements. These include a wide DC voltage input of 10 to 35V and an operating temperature of -20° to 60°C. The device is also equipped with reverse current protection, over/under voltage and current protection, and short circuit protection to protect user data from damage. The feature set of this industrial system creates the necessary foundation to deploy compute-intensive applications such as autonomous mobile robots (AMR), AIoT gateways, or public safety systems within vehicles.
