Equipped with Intel® 10-nanometer Atom® processors, the system offers 1.8 times the CPU performance and 2 times the GPU performance of the previous generation. The compact design measures only 56 mm (W) x 108 mm (D) x 153 mm (H), making it suitable for applications that require installation in tight spaces while still providing sufficient computing power.
The POC-400 has an abundance of front-accessible inputs and outputs and is designed for DIN rail mounting. It also features three 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports with IEEE 802.3 PoE+ capability. The PoE+ ports provide increased data bandwidth for devices such as NBASE-T cameras and are backward compatible with 1000/100/10 Mbps Ethernet. In addition, the system features two 4K DisplayPorts, two USB3.1 Gen1, two USB 2.0, and COM ports.
The POC-400 can be flexibly expanded via the proprietary MezIO™ interface. This allows users to add features such as isolated DIO, RS-232/ 422/ 485, USB 3.1 Gen1, ignition control, memory and 4G/ 5G to the system. A Google TPU or Intel® Movidius VPU module can be integrated via an internal M.2 E-key socket to use the hardware as an edge computing / AI inference platform. Due to the wide operating temperature range from -25°C to 70°C and a wide range DC input from 8V to 35V, the POC-400 is also suitable for machine and equipment control, industrial automation and IoT applications.
