The Ludwigsburg-based automation specialist will be presenting its entire range of automation options for assembly and handling systems at the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management from 13 to 15 March 2018.
In particular, the variety of applications and the integration of robotics require sophisticated automation solutions. Thus, the prerequisites for optimum automation are already laid down when selecting all the control components used, including an individually tailored safety concept. With highly specialized systems for virtually all stations of automated and semiautomated assembly and handling systems, Jetter AG offers complete and partial solutions helping its customers achieve a decisive competitive edge.
Fast productivity through compatibility
Short commissioning times are only possible if automation engineers can further use existing data structures and components from other manufacturers. Partial solutions and data structures are often already available in mechanical engineering. Machine manufacturers know exactly what kinematics, motion functions and visualizations are required. For the necessary data transfer from higherlevel controllers or from an industrial PC, a resource kit is integrated into the JetSym programming tool, which makes it very easy to dock controllers by Jetter AG to the components of other manufacturers.
Networking and cloud connectivity
In Internet of Things, the integration of automation functions goes beyond device limits. Machines network with each other locally or via the cloud. The use of an integrated communication platform reduces the number of interfaces and enables transparent access to the entire plant. While most companies rely on additional systems, such as gateways, when it comes to communication between automation components and the cloud, Jetter offers JetControl 440MC as a cloud-compatible solution. The benefit of this approach is immediately apparent in practice: Direct access to the data from the controller is the more flexible solution, as all the data is already available here. Changes to data types and quantities are also recorded during the project phase.
