Die Jetter AG, Hersteller von Industriesteuerungen aus Ludwigsburg, Deutschland, übernimmt zum 01. Januar 2008 die in Oxford ansässige Firma Control Developments (U.K.) Ltd., die 2007 mit acht Mitarbeitern einen Umsatz von 1,4m GBP erwirtschaftete. Control Developments entwickelt und vertreibt elektro-hydraulische Steuerungssysteme für die Mobile Automation. Das exzellente Know-how der Control Developments für die Steuerung hydraulischer Antriebe ergänzt sich hervorragend mit dem Know-how und mit dem Portfolio der Mobilen Automation von Jetter mit Schwerpunkt Bedienung und Vernetzung. Jetter stärkt mit diesem Schritt seinen Bereich Mobile Automation deutlich. Control Developments wird in Jetter UK Ltd. umfirmieren und als Entwicklungszentrum für Mobile Automation ausgebaut. Fertigung und Verwaltung werden mittelfristig nach Ludwigsburg verlagert. Durch die Nutzung des weltweiten Vertriebsnetzes von Jetter ergeben sich weitere Wachstumschancen für dieses Produktsegment.
