Bundesminister Glos hob aus diesem Anlass den "hohen politischen Stellenwert" hervor, den das Programm sowohl in den Partnerländern als auch in Deutschland genießt. Es handele sich nicht um eine einseitige Unterstützung, sondern eine "win-to-win Situation" für alle Beteiligten.
Bis September 2007 konnten bereits mehr als 3.300 russische und rund 100 kasachische hochqualifizierte Fachkräfte durch Praktika in deutschen Unternehmen Einblicke in praxisorientiertes Management erhalten. Durch die Gemeinsamen Erklärungen zur Verlängerung dieser Programme bis 2010 wird die Bereitschaft zur weiteren intensiven Förderung der bilateralen Wirtschaftsbeziehungen zu beiden Ländern bekräftigt.
