Bundesverband Metall (BVM) wählt neues Präsidium

Die Mitgliederversammlung des Bundesverbands Metall wählte in turnusgemäßen Wahlen am 29.11.2023 in Essen ihr Präsidium neu.

Präsident Willi Seiger (NRW) wurde für weitere vier Jahre gewählt. Auch die Vizepräsidenten Christian Metges (Bayern), Michael Winterhalter (Baden-Württemberg) und Thoralf Volkens (Nord) wurden als Vizepräsidenten im Amt bestätigt. Neu ins Präsidium wurde Bernd Loosen (Rheinland-Pfalz) als Vizepräsident gewählt.

Der bisherige Vizepräsident Erwin Kostyra wurde zum Ehrenpräsidenten des BVM ernannt. Das BVM-Präsidium verlieh ihm zum Abschied den goldenen Ehrenring des Metallhandwerks. In seiner Laudatio würdigte ZDH-Präsident Jörg Dittrich das herausragende Engagement Kostyra‘s für die Belange des Metallhandwerks, die er in seiner Zeit als langjähriger Präsident und Vizepräsident des Bundesverbandes vertreten hat.
