Label printing systems by cab have been enabling reliable labeling for 50 years. Industrial companies appreciate the wide range of possibilities in incoming goods and warehouse, picking and packing, transport and shipping. At the LogiMAT 2025 show, cobot applications will complement tried and tested marking disciplines at the cab booth.
cab exhibits possibilities for automated labeling along a conveyor – with or without a liner. Cycle times and the processing of variable data each play a role, if an object is at rest or in motion at the time a label is applied, and from which side labels are applied onto a product or its packaging.
New applicators enable even more flexibility
HQ applicators are the further development of proven applicator units for HERMES Q label printers. Entirely compatible, they add extra functions. Each applicator can be entirely set on the printer control panel, configurations be stored and called up specific to a user. Automatic calibration features simplify setup. Existing solutions using a HERMES Q can continue with HQ applicators without limitations.
Printing and applying linerless
The HERMES QL device type prints shipping labels without a liner. Industry refers to this as linerless. Printed labels are applied automatically in a single operation. Print heads are direct thermal. The rubber of the print roller has a non-stick coating to prevent a print head from adhesive deposits. HERMES QL suits for use anywhere industrial companies label shipping boxes with data. Equipped with a HQ 4024 stroke applicator, HERMES QL can label a maximum of 25 cardboard boxes per minute.
Using linerless material, a total of 50 percent more labels fit on a roll. Fewer roll changeovers reduce system downtimes. Waste from liners and ribbons is eliminated. Industry and environment benefit.
New mid-range label dispenser
cab introduces ROXI. It dispenses pre-printed self-adhesive labels at belt speeds as high as 30 meters per minute. Labels can be applied precisely onto flat and recessed surfaces. ROXI can be installed in any orientation. Its versatility covers around 80 percent of common industrial labeling applications.
Other intended exhibits
· Label printers for small to large volumes. Two-color or double-sided printing are options.
· Print modules that print labels automatically and provide the printed labels to a cab label dispenser. Designed for integration into plants
· Classic label dispensers for use at manual workstations
