As a global IT solutions provider, camLine GmbH launches a unique Manufacturing Data Warehouse (DWH) at Hannover Messe. LineWorks mDICE is the new and autonomous module of the in-house product suite LineWorks that is being used to realize customized Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
The integration of the data warehouse ensures industrial manufacturers that for decision-making in daily production, results of traceability searches and long-term analyzes are available for practical use. Doing so, the interactive reporting system offers information for sustainable management.
LineWorks mDICE is designed for BIG DATA. It supports daily manufacturing operations in the following two ways: On the one hand, it offers efficient traceability searches and thus enables lean recalls implicitly, i.e., the campaign is concretized and reduced to identify individual products (list of unit IDs). On the other hand, mDICE-Reporting comes with a variety of processed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) which focus on production quality and production performance.
Compared to IT infrastructure solutions, LineWorks mDICE can be easily integrated into existing manufacturing IT. One advantage of mDICE is that reporting inquiries are not loaded onto the existing IT systems for production control (Online Transaction Processing, OLTP).
For the issues mentioned above, the use of mDICE across multiple sites guarantees the implementation of premium quality standards for sustainable business strategies.
