Canadian Solar, eines der weltweit größten Solarunternehmen, und Saferay (www.safe-ray.com) geben heute den Abschluss eines umfangreichen Lieferabkommens für Solarmodule bekannt. Im Rahmen dieser Vereinbarung stellt der kanadische Solarmodulhersteller Solarmodule mit einer Gesamtleistung von 81 MW bereit.
Das in Berlin ansässige Unternehmen Saferay plant und errichtet PV-Großkraftwerke seit Mitte 2010 und entstand als Spin-Off eines führenden deutschen Solarzellenherstellers. Saferay ist eine der am schnellsten wachsenden Firmen der Branche und hat im Jahr 2010 bereits vier Freiflächenanlagen mit zweistelligen MW-Leistungen errichtet.
