In recent years, InterPart has become the leading industry gathering for automotive-component makers and engineering companies in one of Europe’s strongest economic regions. The international show brings together decision-makers and experts with suppliers of precision parts – parts that are also in great demand in the fastest-growing OEM market: medical technology. Staging InterPart and the new MediPart exhibition under one roof was a logical decision for Canon Communications, who have already hosted a variety of shows focusing on advanced technology manufacturing. Holding the two events simultaneously enables manufacturers of automotive, engineering, and medical components to source products and services from suppliers of the highest possible quality standards.
The trio is rounded out by Surfacts – the international trade show for surface technologies. Unlike comparable industry events, Surfacts focuses squarely on surface treatments. Services of this kind are key to ensuring products in the automotive, engineering, and medical-technology sectors are functional, durable, and attractive – and often paving the way for new applications. The show not only features traditional surface-processing, -treatment, and -coating methods, but also spotlights innovative new technologies. In addition to electroplating, exhibitors will showcase chemical, thermal, and mechanical processes – such as grinding, heat treatment, hardening, painting/varnishing and powder coating, as well as plasma, vacuum, and nanotechnology, plus special treatments.
InterPart; MediPart, and Surfacts will be held from June 3-5 2008 at the Karlsruhe Exhibition Center (Germany). Further information is available at www.dreifachmesse.de or from Canon Communications GmbH, Mainzer Strasse 21–23, 56068 Koblenz (Coblence), Germany. Phone: +49 (0)261 2935892.
