Among the new technologies to be shown are Cumulus Sites, the company’s new Web publishing technology that merges ease of use with the easiest Web configuration and upkeep available in a DAM system. Cumulus Sites complements the company’s new Web Client, which offers uncompromised browser based access to Cumulus catalogs and assets from anywhere.
A new iPad/iPhone client for Cumulus, published by Canto partner Vitras, will also be demonstrated. Using the app, users can browse catalogs, download assets and edit metadata from any wi-fi or 3G connection.
Additional new technologies introduced with Cumulus 8.1.1, the most recent version of the company’s flagship product, will be featured. Among them, Cumulus-Direct URLs, which provide secure, direct access to cataloged assets right from Web pages or social media sites.
Scheduled to speak about his experiences with DAM and Canto Cumulus will be James Kober, Director of Advertising Operations for Newsday.
Also on hand will be Canto partner Moksa, which provides Canto product sales and services throughout the northeastern US. Best known for its award-winning TypeTrax Cumulus addon, which provides font management from within Canto Cumulus, Moksa will introduce its newWorkflowManager add-on, which provides advanced workflow management functionality from within Cumulus systems.
