The MD-CP42 from Canvys offers a native resolution of 1920x1080 pixels (full HD) and a contrast value of 2500:1. The maximum brightness amounts to 500 cd/m². A range of signal inputs such as DVI, HD-SDI, RGB, S-video and composite video facilitates the connection of various signal sources, including HD endoscopic cameras, operation cameras or HD-video cameras.
The display approved for use in a medical environment contains both different gamma curves and DICOM preset. The CFS(TM) calibration software included with delivery makes it possible both to calibrate the display according to the DICOM standard and to perform an automated conformity test to ensure consistent image quality. In this way, the Canvys MD-CP42 is ideally suited for the display of x-ray images in the operating room.
The "picture-in-picture" function lets the user simultaneously view x-ray images while a video plays in another area of the display. This option and all the OSD settings can be selected directly on the LCD monitor and via a serial RS232 interface.
The device is produced in Germany. Furthermore, Canvys can ensure the identical configuration of the display for at least two years, thanks to the use of components available over the long term. This saves the user from having to perform lengthy, costintensive and laborious function and installation tests.
The display has the approvals CE, EN60601-1-1 and EN60601-1-2.
