From March 21-23, 2023, the CHT Group will present its latest product developments in silicone elastomers, silicone-based antifoams and defoamers, and silicones for leather production at silicone EXPO Europe 2023 in Amsterdam, the only European trade show and conference for the silicone industry.
Silicone elastomers for e-mobility
The CHT Group will present numerous innovative silicone elastomers for
e-mobility at the trade fair.
SilSo Lite 21025 is a new, state-of-the-art silicone foam from the CHT Group for electronic components and battery packs in electric vehicles. It consists of a two-component, room temperature self-blowing silicone that forms a closed cell structure. SilSo Lite 21025 meets criteria for reducing weight, mitigating thermal chain reactions (thermal runaway) and protecting against moisture, debris, vibration and shock. This silicone foam is ideal where low smoke, flame and toxicity are required.
SilSo Bond 14000 is a thermally conductive, non-corrosive, neutral curing,
1-component RTV silicone adhesive. It exhibits excellent primer-free adhesion to many substrates and cures at room temperature.
SilSo Clear 21002 is the latest addition to CHT's optical materials product portfolio. This product is a platinum-cured, highly transparent liquid silicone rubber (LSR) developed for injection molding of optical parts. With its excellent transparency, UV, temperature and moisture resistance, this material is suitable for a wide range of sophisticated indoor, outdoor and automotive lighting applications. SilSo Clear 21002 is lightweight, scratch resistant and will not yellow. It is also easy to process.

CHT's highly concentrated HANSA® XFOAM solutions based on tailor-made polysiloxanes combine high process safety with long-term performance.
Our silicone-based antifoams and defoamers are highly efficient even at low dosages, have an excellent persistence and are effective on macro and micro foam. The final performance will be affected by the level of material incompatibility in the application.
