“The global services industry has gone clearly beyond the paradigm of ‘more work at lesser cost’. Companies are routinely seeking business outcomes, and in some cases, new forms of business value. Service providers who can deliver on these fronts make it to the GS100 and its categories,” said Ed Nair, the Editor of Global Services.
Conducted by Global Services in association with NeoAdvisory, GS100 annual report serves as a benchmark for identifying new leaders in the global services space, recognizing service providers’ excellence and maturity to serve the global market. This should not be confused with a list of the 100 largest outsourcing vendors. GS100 reflects the global diversity and overall landscape of the service provider community in terms of company sizes, countries of origin and countries of delivery, and this year it represents companies from 18 countries with operations in 30 countries.
The GS100 Methodology of rating companies who opted to participate in the survey is a weighted scoring scheme based on over 200 data points and several qualitative parameters, all focused around the four primary pillars:
1. Management Excellence
2. Customer Maturity
3. Global Delivery Maturity
4. Breadth of Services Portfolio
“The firms that are recognized in the GS100 list show a higher level of focus on client needs, employee development and process improvement. They continue to be providers of choice in the market,” said Atul Vashistha, the Founder and Chairman of NeoGroup.
Ciklum is among nine Eastern European based companies recognized this year by the GS100 and one of the only two IT Outsourcing providers representing the Ukraine. This is the second time Ciklum achieves this level of recognition by GS100, where the first one was in 2010.
”Ciklum’s unique client own nearshore development team model and the community of services and knowdledge sharing that we have build and are continuously enhancing are becoming increazingly popular as our clients realize that the increased value for money in IT outsourcing can only be achieved when same people work as a team over longer periods of time, and where the facilitator of this matters a lot. Our clients are our best advocates and it is thanks to them Ciklum’s growth, in both revenue and employee numbers, is in double digits year and after year, we get named best Larger Ukrainian IT Employer 2010, and get recognized by various leading studies such as GS100 2011,” commented Ivan Pohrebniyak, Ciklum Marketing Manager.
