Die feine Schokolade aus Kamelmilch. Süß, wenig fettig und etwas salzig – so schmeckt die zarte Versuchung aus 1000 und 1 Nacht, die den Namen „Al Nassma“ trägt.
Allerdings kam die Idee für die Süßigkeit nicht etwa aus dem Ursprungsland der Kamele, sondern vielmehr aus Deutschland. Der Kölner Martin van Almsick hat seine Idee, Schokolade aus Kamelmilch herzustellen, verwirklicht.
Van Almsick ist zufrieden: „Die Regierung von Dubai schuf die erste Kamelmilch-Farm der Welt, wo fast 3.000 Tiere gemolken werden. So hat man genug Milch, um Schokolade industriell zu produzieren.“
Aufgrund seines Erfolges ist der Kölner inzwischen von Deutschland nach Dubai gezogen.
Die Schokolade „Al Nassma“, übersetzt bedeutet dies „Erfrischende Brise“, wird für 5 Euro (70 Gramm) verkauft. Den relativ hohen Preis führt van Almsick auf die Hochwertigkeit seiner erstklassigen Süßigkeit zurück.
