Abu Dhabi: Neues in Sachen Tourismus

Abu Dhabis Tourismusbranche hat sich ein weiteres Ziel gesetzt: Das einstige karge Wüstenland soll zu Karibik Konkurrenz Nummer eins werden. Dieser Plan soll westlich von Abu Dhabi auf acht traumhaften Inseln in die Realität umgesetzt werden. Auf den Inseln sollen luxuriöse Ferienanlagen mit knapp 4000 Hotelzimmern entstehen, die keine Wünsche der betuchten Urlauber mehr offen lassen. Die Inselgruppe wurde auf den Namen „Desert Island“ getauft und soll 2010 eröffnet werden.
