Extreme temperatures such as those in Saudi Arabia and Kazakhstan place high demands on spring systems in rail vehicles. ContiTech produces MEGI® springs and air-spring systems specifically designed for use in extremely hot or cold conditions. These include the newly developed K air spring, which can withstand temperatures as low as -50 °C. It is an excellent example of ContiTech's comprehensive development expertise and its "Engineering Next Level" principle. ContiTech will be showcasing these new developments and other spring products for sustainable rail engineering at InnoTrans 2014 (September 23 through 26) in hall 9, booth 501.
