The advantage is clear: The new REINZOSIL cartridge with a content of 310 ml has been approved for worldwide shipping without any restrictions – by regular mail, ocean and air freight. The content is identical, only the packaging is new. It does not have the second gas-filled chamber, which is the reason for the mandatory marking of the spray can.
The larger cartridge with an additional 240 or 110 ml capacity meets the customer request for more content. Especially truck repair and service shops require more than 70 or 200 ml of REINZOSIL, for example, for sealing oil pans. Thanks to the cartridge, more comprehensive applications are now possible without problem in a single step. The cartridge fits in commercially available cartridge guns; no separate ejection gun is necessary.
REINZOSIL is suitable for sealing surfaces in engines, transmission, axles, cylinder liners and plastic housings. The silicone compound seals flat component joints with sealing gaps from 0.15 mm. REINZOSIL is suitable for all makes of engines and vehicles.
With the product update of February 2022, the short-term temperature resistance of REINZOSIL was increased to a peak up to 320 °C. In addition, the universal sealing compound received the label "sensor safe". Of course, REINZOSIL in the cartridge has these same two improved product characteristics. Because of the plastic cartridge, the minimum shelf life is twelve months.
REINZOSIL 2.0 in the cartridge – the advantages at a glance
