Dassault Systèmes zeigt mit vier Business Partnern, wie der gesamte Entstehungsprozess eines Produkts mit PLM unterstützt wird - von der Konzeption über die Analyse und Simulation bis hin zur Fertigung. Die Lösungen basieren auf CATIA für die virtuelle Produktentwicklung, ENOVIA für das Produktdatenmanagement, DELMIA für die virtuelle Fertigung, SIMULIA für realistische Simulationen und 3DVIA, das die 3-D-Technologie über das Internet allen Anwendern zugänglich macht. Die PLM-Lösungen von DS basieren dabei alle auf einer einheitlichen, durchgängigen Architektur.

Die internationale Ausstellung für Metallbearbeitung findet 2008 erstmals auf dem neuen Messegelände in Stuttgart statt. Die AMB zählt mit einem Fachbesucheranteil von nahezu 100 Prozent zu den international wichtigsten Treffen der metallverarbeitenden Industrie.
