Mit der neuen Version von BobCAD - FreeCAD wurde die Funktionalität der Gratissoftware nochmals gesteigert. Von der 2D Formbibliothek bis zur erweiterten Bohrung in 3D stehen viele praktische CAD Werkzeuge zur Verfügung. Eine Erweiterung zu einem professionellen CAD/CAM System ist bei Bedarf jederzeit möglich.

BobCAD-FreeCAD ist einfach zu bedienen und verfügt über umfangreiche Funktionen für die 2D/3D-Konstruktion.

Die aktuelle Version V33 von BobCAD - FreeCAD bietet viele Neuerungen. Unter anderem wurde die Formbibliothek erweitert. Diese bietet viele parametrische Vorlagen zur schnellen und einfachen Erstellung von 2D Standardformen zur weiteren Verwendung in der 3D Modellierung.

Zusätzlich wird die automatische Erstellung von Zahnrädern, Kettenrädern und Kurvenrollen unterstützt.

„Dynamisches Zeichnen“ erleichtert das Erstellen von Objekte mit einer Kombination aus Skizzieren und Dateneingabe.
