Das Gerät ist ein vollwertiges mobiles Zeiterfassungs-Terminal auf Basis des TimeboyIV, mit allen Optionen, für Mitarbeiter, die an unterschiedlichen Orten arbeiten. Für eine bedienerfreundliche Anwendung verfügt das Gerät lediglich über zwei Eingabetasten. Dies vermeidet Fehler bei der Eingabe und Handhabung. Bestätigungen signalisiert das Gerät optisch über LEDs bzw. akustische Signale. Statt der üblichen Vorgehensweise, wo der Mitarbeiter einen Transponder hat und zum Terminal geht, trägt hier der Mitarbeiter das mobile Terminal mit sich. An den jeweiligen Arbeitsorten werden die Transponder montiert und vom Mitarbeiter eingelesen. Auf diesem Weg hat die Buchung alle notwendigen Informationen. (Mitarbeiter-ID, Datum/Uhrzeit, Kostenstelle/Ort der Buchung)
