Enso Detego GmbH, a leading provider of RFID products and solutions to the Fashion and Food & Beverage Industry, demonstrates at LogiMAT trade fair in Stuttgart, Germany, an asset management solution, which allows transparent tracking and tracing of reusable, returnable transport items (RTIs) across different locations in a supply chain.
The Enso Detego returnable asset management solution, based on the use of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, allows customers to improve efficiency in managing their assets during transportation and storage. By improving the visibility of reusable pallets, containers, bins, plastic crates or carts in the supply chain, customers know exactly how many RTIs are in the circulation and where they are located.
"Reduction in the operated RTI stock size, lower transportation costs and reduced shrinkage are among the benefits customers embrace when they implement the RFID based asset management solution", says Matjaz Novak, Marketing Director at Enso Detego. "Our asset management solution perfectly addresses these needs. Besides comprehensive asset management software, we provide identification point solutions, which are based on our patented, highly reliable item identification algorithms. At our booth at the LogiMAT, we will demonstrate how our dock door solution reliably improves RTI visibility in the logistics chain for all involved business partners".
Matthias Weitlaner, Head of Software Development at Enso Detego, adds: "Each business partner can simply access his asset data from the web at any time and from any location. Our software is hosted in the cloud therefore there is no need for the user to install any asset management specific IT system at his premises. We offer our customers a comprehensive, ready-to-use solution."
To complement the demonstration of the RTI management solution, Alexander Gauby, General Manger at Enso Detego, will present a paper on "Zero-error concepts in logistics, based on RFID technology" at the forum V in Hall 4 on Wednesday, February 20th at 4.15 p.m.
