The DVCx3 series is characterized by its planar design, which enables high power density and current carrying capacity in compact dimensions. Models such as the DVC853 and DVC1903 offer a maximum output current of 160 A for up to four seconds with a height of less than 22 mm. The series includes converters DVC153, DVC453, DVC853, and DVC1903 with nominal input voltages from 24V to 80V and output voltages of 12V and 24V. Selected devices support a CAN interface, enabling communication via customer-configurable CAN2.0A or standardized J1939 protocol.
The new DR series includes state-of-the-art, non-isolated converters specifically designed to maximize efficiency and safety in various applications. These converters combine outstanding efficiency with an integrated freewheeling switch as a protective device. With an impressive power of 500W, they are capable of handling demanding tasks. Another outstanding feature is the possibility of parallel connection, allowing flexible adaptation to different power requirements. The converters are short-circuit and no-load proof and have over-temperature protection, ensuring safety even under extreme conditions. This combination of high performance, safety, and flexibility makes the DR series the ideal solution for a variety of applications.
For specific high-voltage applications, the DVCHx3 series with products DVCH1503 and DVCH3003 is predestined. The trend towards more powerful drive concepts for hybrid and electric vehicles enables the elimination of the alternator by using a DC/DC converter that adjusts the voltage of the high-voltage energy storage to the on-board voltage. With an efficiency of typically 95 percent, combined with a small volume and potential separation of up to 4.25 kV, the series meets the high demands of the industry. The flexible contact cooling concept allows application-specific cooling approaches, and a CAN interface adaptable to customer requirements rounds off the universal application possibilities.
