Wie, wo und womit werden wir in naher und ferner Zukunft zueinander Kontakt aufnehmen, einander finden, ansprechbar und erreichbar sein, miteinander reden, Informationen übertragen und austauschen, Netzwerke knüpfen, Content empfangen und bereitstellen, von Informationen gefunden werden? Wie muss eine Kommunikationstechnik aussehen, die einfach zu bedienen ist und gerne genutzt wird? Welche kulturellen und sozialen Auswirkungen hat der technologische Wandel in der Kommunikation?
Zum zweiten Mal prämiert der Deutsche Verband für Post, Informationstechnologie und Telekommunikation e. V. (DVPT) die besten Analysen, Konzepte, Projekte und Visionen dazu mit dem „Zukunftspreis Kommunikation“. Am Wettbewerb teilnehmen können – fachbereichsunabhängig – alle Hochschulen in Deutschland.
Die Auszeichnung ist mit 5.000 Euro dotiert. Bewerbungen mit einem kurzen Exposé, das den Wettbewerbsbeitrag vorstellt, sind per E-Mail möglich (zukunftspreis@voipgermany.de).
Verliehen wird der Preis am 30./31. Oktober 2007 in Frankfurt auf der VO.IP Germany, Deutschlands größter Fach-Kongressmesse für Voice- und IP-Kommunikation. Die besten Wettbewerbsbeiträge werden im Rahmen der Fachausstellung präsentiert und von einer Jury bewertet. Die Schirmherrschaft für den „Zukunftspreis Kommunikation“ hat der hessische Wirtschaftsminister Dr. Alois Riehl übernommen.
