Success has come from a number of exciting Virtualisation and Data Centre transformation projects across Europe, with particularly high growth rates achieved in the UK, Germany, France, Belux, Poland, Hungary, Portugal, and Spain.
During the last six months NextiraOne has won many significant Data Centre projects across Europe, including a second Data Centre for Gazprom, won in the UK, the French Emergency Ambulance Services (SAMU) project on the island of La Réunion in the Indian Ocean, a very prestigious Euro-Centrum Project in Poland and a Virtualised Dynamic Data Centre project for one of Austria's key educational institutes.
In recognition of the commitment NextiraOne has shown to grow this business, the company has also received several awards during the first half of the year, such as the Energy Efficiency Award for its work with Howden Joinery in the UK, as well as several Cisco Data Centre Partner of the Year Awards for France, Belgium, Hungary and Austria. The company has also been welcomed as a member of the Data Centre Alliance.
NextiraOne has also continued enhancing its Data Centre offering with a raft of new solutions and partnerships that add significantly to the company's portfolio and expertise. Earlier this year NextiraOne launched its Cloud Management Solution based on Cisco's Cloupia platform. In addition, the company's new Storage Backup and Recovery solutions, focused on mid-sized companies, are currently being rolled out across Europe.
Commenting on the growth and NextiraOne's strategy, Aman Khan, Managing Director Europe, Data Centre and Cloud Solutions, said: "We are extremely pleased to have achieved such remarkable sales success in the first half of the year against a backdrop of continuing economic uncertainties in some European countries. We are also immensely proud of the innovative projects we have won from our customers."
