Darüber hinaus informierten Foren über Themen wie "Persönlichkeitsmarketing für Frauen", "Frauen und Selbstwert" oder "Wie präsentiere ich mein Unternehmen". Praktische Hilfe beim Knüpfen von Kontakten leistete eine Kooperationsbörse. Einzelne Unternehmerinnen und Frauennetzwerke stellten sich außerdem in Kurzspots vor.
"Wirtschaft ist oft noch Männersache, aber Frauen holen auf", stellte die Leiterin der Regionalstelle Frau und Wirtschaft Dr. Claudia Keidies fest. "Denn es ist längst erwiesen: Gemischte Teams mit Frauen und Männern arbeiten wesentlich effizienter."
Auch der Geschäftsführer der Wirtschaftsförderung Udo Mager freute sich über den Erfolg der Veranstaltung. "Unser Ziel war es unter anderem, auf das enorme Potenzial aufmerksam zu machen, das Frauen der Dortmunder Wirtschaft zu bieten haben. Das ist uns gelungen", sagte Mager nach seiner Eröffnungsrede. "Diese Veranstaltung belegt noch einmal, wie wichtig die Arbeit der Regionalstelle Frau und Wirtschaft für Dortmund ist."
Dortmunderinnen vernetzt fand bereits zum fünften Mal statt. Insgesamt 50 Ausstellerinnen nahmen in diesem Jahr an der Veranstaltung teil. Zu den Foren kamen mehr als 160 Teilnehmerinnen.
