In addition to the glove-free design and automated airlock cycles established in all Bactron® workbenches, special emphasis was placed on extra-height of workspace in the 400HP model, as well as the possibility of bringing in larger devices and cleaning materials via the liftable hinged front flange granting flexible chamber access to the user.
By filtering the chamber atmosphere via a HEPA filter (according to ISO class 3 standard), an efficient, continuous particle reduction in the chamber space and incubator is achieved during operation. In addition, the chamber atmosphere is continuously monitored by means of oxygen (O2) and humidity (RH) sensors, measured values are displayed on the screen and stored for later evaluation. The large, high-resolution touchscreen colour display enables both the quick review of the current unit status and a user-friendly operation and monitoring of the unit.
The large storage capacity of the integrated incubator (400 plates) and the airlock (216 plates), as well as the possibility of inserting individual plates via a separate lateral single-plate access, open up a multitude of possibilities for the user to efficiently design their work processes and adapt them to the respective task requirements.
