EBV Elektronik promotes Antonio Fernandez to VP Technical Development

 EBV Elektronik, an Avnet company (NYSE: AVT) and the leading specialist in EMEA semiconductor distribution, has named Antonio Fernandez as its new Vice President Technical Development. In his position Antonio will be responsible for driving and shaping EBV technical strategy across EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa). He will report directly to Slobodan Puljarevic, CEO & President EBV Elektronik.

Fernandez has been in the semiconductor industry since 1994. He joined EBV in 1997 as a Field Application Engineer in Spain and was promoted to Regional Applications Manager for Portugal and Spain in 2001. In 2009 he took over the European responsibility as Manager for EBV’s Vertical Segment ‘Renewable Energies’. Fernandez was appointed Technical Marketing Director of EBV in 2011.

Antonio Fernandez holds a graduate degree in Electronics Engineering and a master’s degree in Organisation and Engineering of Production and Management of Industrial Plants.
