Der DV2324-008 bietet hervorragende Bildqualität für Sicherheits- und Überwachungsanwendungen, bei denen es auf die scharfe und deutliche Darstellung von Bewegtbildern ankommt, um präzise Beobachtungen zu ermöglichen. Mit seiner Bildwiederholrate von 120 Hz eignet sich der Monitor optimal zur Überwachung von Gepäckstücken oder Frachtgut in gesicherten Umgebungen. Dank der 120-Hz-Funktion können Bewegtbilder auf diesem Bildschirm wesentlich genauer untersucht werden, ohne ständig die Transportbänder anhalten und neu starten zu müssen, die häufig in Verbindung mit Scanner-Anlagen eingesetzt werden.
Der Monitor bietet eine physische Auflösung von 1920 × 1080 Bildpunkten. Der Einblickwinkel beträgt 170° in horizontaler Richtung und 160° in vertikaler Richtung. Auflösungen, die von der physischen Auflösung des Monitors abweichen, können in ihrer tatsächlichen Größe angezeigt, proportional skaliert oder bildschirmfüllend dargestellt werden. Der Monitor erreicht eine maximale Helligkeit von 350 cd/m² und ein Kontrastverhältnis von 1.000:1. Eine VESA-100-Halterung ist im Lieferumfang enthalten, sodass der Monitor an einem Schwenkarm oder auf einem Standfuß montiert werden kann.
Der DuraVision DV2324-008 ist mit einer HDMI-Schnittstelle, DVI-I (RGB analog und TMDS) und einem 15-poligen HD-D-Sub-Eingang zum Anschluss eines Computers ausgestattet. Zusätzlich verfügt er auch über einen CVBS-Composite-Eingang (BNC-Eingang), der den Anschluss von Überwachungsgeräten wie Videoüberwachungsanlagen (CCTV-Anlagen), Überwachungskameras und Scanner-Systemen ermöglicht. Der Composite-Eingang unterstützt NTSC-, PAL- und SECAM-Signale.
