The building division has grown rapidly in recent years in the international markets. EJOT follows this development consequently with a more international name: The division has been renamed Construction Division with the business units Building Fasteners (former Dach & Wand) and ETICS Fasteners (former WDVS).
New head of the Building Fasteners business unit is Dr. Jens Weber. The 38-year-old mechanical and industrial engineer has been working at EJOT since 2010 and is an expert on the fields of material and fastening technology. He started off as head of the design engineering and development department at Building Fasteners. After that, he served as Technical Director, responsible for product management and application technology.
He took over the job from Michael Hofmann in February, as Mr. Hofmann will be concentrating on developing new markets in North and Central America as well as South America.
The new technical director of the Construction Division is Christian Dreher. Like his predecessor, Mr Dreher is going to be responsible for the areas product management, application engineering, design engineering and development.
New sales manager for Germany is Stefan Schnaus. The 47-year-old began his career at EJOT in 1998 and was most recently responsible for the sales region South-East. He succeeds Thomas Heupel, who left the company in January at his own request.
