Elatec RFID Systems, Spezialist für die Entwicklung von RFID-Lese- und -Schreibsystemen, hat sein neues Kompaktmodul TWN4 MultiTech Nano vorgestellt. Die RFID-/NFC-Leseeinheit deckt alle gängigen RFID-Standards der 125kHz-, 134,2kHz- und 13,56MHz-Technologien ab. Mit Abmessungen von nur 31 × 17,8 × 2,5 mm und einseitiger Bestückung, eignet sich das extrem kompakte TWN4 MultiTech Nano besonders gut für die Oberflächenmontage. Es kann mit Steckverbindern montiert oder direkt auf einer Leiterplatte verlötet werden.

TWN4 MultiTech Nano ist durch seine geringe Größe, vielfältige externe Antennenoptionen und erweiterten Temperaturbereich besonders für industrielle und mobile Anwendungen geeignet. Referenzpläne für das Antennendesign und Design Kits stellt Elatec auf Wunsch zur Verfügung. Die NFC-Fähigkeit empfiehlt den RFID-Reader für Applikationen zur Kommunikation mit Smartphones. Für Bezahlanwendungen ist eine EMVCo-Zertifizierung möglich. TWN4 MultiTech Nano ist das jüngste Mitglied der TWN4-Produktfamilie von Multifrequenz-/Multistandard-RFID-Modulen.
