Empolis Smart Service® uses cutting-edge big data and semantic Web technologies in order to intelligently analyze massive amounts of machine data in real time and extract reliable forecasts from them to prevent imminent downtimes, for instance, and facilitate what is known as "predictive maintenance". In addition, it includes Service Resolution Management to ensure quick and efficient problem-solving methods for contact centers.

The special highlight at the Hannover Messe with be our LEGO® robot demonstrator which simulates an industrial plant and how it loads and transports cargo. The sensor data collected in the simulated industrial plant collects up to one million pieces of data per minute and transfers these to our Big Data Cloud. Based on the data collected, the system calculates forecasts on possible failures and triggers service processes.
