EDACs neue 520-Serie an Kabelsteckverbindern bietet eine innovative Verdrahtungslösung. Mit den bewährten Edacon vergoldeten hermaphroditischen Kontakten, die für Anwendungen verwendet werden, wo höchstes Maß an Zuverlässigkeit benötigt wird, macht diesen Kabelsteckverbinder sehr interessant. Außerdem kann auf beiden Seiten das gleiche Gehäuse verwendet werden. Die Gasdichten Oberflächen der Kontakte bieten eine hoch qualitative und sehr Kosten effektive Lösung.
Verschiedene Kontakt Typen wie z.B. für Leiterplattenmontage, Wire Wrap und Crimpkontakte erlauben eine fliegende Montage, die Leiterplattenmontage und weitere Variationen mit dem gleichen Gehäuse.
Es sind zwei und drei polige Gehäuse erhältlich, sowie ein Clip um die Verbindung zu sichern.
Die Kontakte sind für Ströme von bis zu 8.5A geeignet und haben einen maximalen Kontaktwiderstand von maximal 6 mOhm.
