The new es-series flush mounting solid state switches from Engelking have been constructed with the needs of designers in mind. Turned from solid aluminum and satin anodized in silver, black (standard) and other finishes they are already finding application in lighting and high end multimedia applications.
The switch body is designed in such a way that the surface of the button can sit level with a recessed panel, which might have a matching finish, thus giving the panel a unified appearance.
Many applications require a latching or toggle switch action but at the same time, aesthetics require light operation combined with short switch travel. The es-series of switches meet this requirement through an integrated solid state toggle switching concept able to switch currents of 2.5A at 24V.
The switch button is non-rotating allowing custom engraving on request and Engelking's tradition of meeting customer needs, means that a wide range of custom versions, including materials such as brass, stainless steel or titanium can be offered.
