The management boards of Digital Experiences Group GmbH (“DEG”) and Ergosign Switzerland AG (“Ergosign Switzerland”) have changed as of May 1st, 2024. Professor Dr. Dieter Wallach is leaving the management of the companies at his own request and by mutual agreement. In future, he will focus on his work as a university lecturer. He will continue to be available to the companies as a consultant.

The management team of DEG, led by Dr. Marcus Plach, Sahar Azghandi-Daoutis, and Dr. Jan Schlesner, will now include Oliver Kulpi.

In the future, Ergosign Switzerland AG will be led by Toni Steimle, who will serve as Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Markus Kühner and Oliver Kulpi will each take on a role as a member of the Board of Directors.

Dr. Marcus Plach will oversee the transition to the new management team and is expected to leave the Digital Experiences Group in the fourth quarter of this year.

“We are delighted to be able to offer a comprehensive service portfolio in the Swiss market thanks to the new strategic direction of the Group. In the future, we will expand our market leadership in the areas of user research and user experience design for B2B applications, HMI and digital experience platforms (DXP) with our team of experts for brand development, content production and industrial design of hardware products," says Oliver Kulpi.

Toni Steimle adds: “The changes in management make it possible to provide our customers in Switzerland with even more comprehensive support with immediate effect. We are confident that we can now also support new sectors and industries on their path to digital transformation with our collaborative, human-centered methodology.”

Toni Steimle is a leading figure in the Swiss UX scene and has more than 25 years of experience in user experience strategy, creativity and digital markets. He has been working operationally for Ergosign Switzerland for 10 years and was most recently responsible for managing the Zurich and Basel offices.

With over 25 years of experience in digital business as a customer experience strategist, Oliver Kulpi will bring new insights to the Digital Experiences Group. Before joining DEG, he was most recently Senior Vice President Strategy and Growth at Valtech international.

Markus Kühner brings over 20 years of experience in user experience design. At Ergosign, he has supported numerous clients from various industries in complex projects and, as Head of the Saarbrücken site, significantly contributed to its success.
