Esker Tun 2009 und Esker SmarTerm 2009 ab sofort erhältlich

Die Terminal Emulationen von Esker, einem führenden Anbieter von Lösungen zur Automatisierung von Dokumentenprozessen, gibt es ab sofort in einer jeweils neuen Version: Esker Tun 2009 und Esker SmarTerm 2009. Terminal Emulationen werden eingesetzt, um von Desktop-Rechnern auf Host-Systeme zuzugreifen. Auch wenn in modernen Systemlandschaften die Notwendigkeit des Einsatzes von Terminal Emulationen abnimmt, entwickelt Esker regelmäßig seine beiden Legacy-Produktlinien "Esker Tun" und "Esker SmarTerm" weiter. Zum einen hat das Unternehmen eine breite Bestandskundenbasis, zum anderen gibt es Branchen wie Banken und Versicherungen, in denen die Nutzung von Host-Systemen nach wie vor an der Tagesordnung ist. Neu an Esker Tun 2009 ist die volle MS Vista-Kompatibilität, während Esker SmarTerm 2009 die Betriebssysteme MS Vista und MS Server 2008 jeweils in der 32 und in der 64 Bit Variante unterstützt sowie eine erhöhte Sicherheit durch Unterstützung der Protokolle SH1 und SH2 bietet.
