Etrusco is expanding its portfolio with an urban camper based on the Renault Trafic, which can handle everyday use in city traffic as well as spontaneous weekend trips or mobile work. The motorhome manufacturer is thus focusing on a new type of vehicle for the 2024 model year: the UC 5.0 XR combines important features of a camper van. The new model with a length of 5.08 metres offers space for up to four sleeping berths. Its dynamic interior rail concept allows unlimited use as a passenger car as well. Etrusco puts an all-rounder on the road that is especially tailored to the demands of city residents. The model will be presented for the first time at this year's Caravan Salon Düsseldorf.

As a technical basis, the Renault Trafic offers a high level of safety, comfort and driving performance. "We are convinced that the Urban Camper is perfectly tailored to the needs of city residents. We are observing a trend here to cover as many areas of life as possible with all-purpose campers. With a towing capacity of 2.5 tonnes (braked), the storage space of the Urban Camper can be easily expanded, and additional leisure equipment can be conveniently taken along by trailer.
Compact design line - continuation of proven interior concept
The modern design of the Urban Camper is convincing: striking, clear lines and an aero-dynamic profile give it a sporty, discreet look. The focus of the Etrusco design team was to create the perfect combination of compact vehicle and maximum interior space. The result is an urban camper van, which in the interior ties in with the familiar Etrusco design lines and natural colours and at the same time convinces with a sophisticated storage space principle. The UC 5.0 XR is another cost-effective and modern model in the Etrusco portfolio that is ideally suited for entry into the world of campers.
Important accessories fitted as standard
The new model offers a pop-up roof including sleeping area, clever built-in cupboards, a compact kitchenette, swivelling front seats and a flexibly adjustable load compartment via the rail system as standard. The basic price is 56,999 euros.
With an overall length of only 5.08 meters, the Urban Camper is very compact and easy to manoeuvre, even in narrow streets. A highlight of this vehicle category is the 45-litre water tank and various driver assistance systems of the Renault Trafic model. A flexible bench with Isofix fastening is available as an option, which when folded out provides an almost two-meter-long lying surface for additional overnight guests. It can be removed and installed in just a few steps to significantly increase the load space volume.
Individual configuration
The Urban Camper allows flexible vehicle use for both private and business purposes and offers future campers many other advantages. Thanks to suitable connections for laptops, tablets etc., mobile working or a business trip, e.g. to appointments or conferences, is possible at any time.
Particularly practical is the connection for the outdoor shower at the rear as well as the compact kitchen block with built-in 41-litre compressor refrigerator, sink and 2-flame cooker. For longer journeys, there is additional storage space in the rear of the vehicle for kitchen accessories, clothing and other holiday utensils.
The Urban Camper is available with two package variants: "Comfort Package" and "Complete Selection". The "Complete Selection" includes a multimedia and navigation system, an awning, a cooled glove compartment and additional electronic equipment components, such as an additional USB connection and a 230 V socket. Both packages allow a price advantage of up to 2,000 EUR. They also make vehicle configuration easier: equipment highlights, such as a diesel auxiliary heating system and a living area darkening system are already preselected in the packages and ensure a high level of travel comfort.
