Italian charm from first idea to series production
Distinctive, exciting, stylish: Etrusco stands for contemporary motorhomes that exude Italian charm. Thanks to its fresh and distinctive designs, this relatively young brand of the Erwin Hymer Group has established itself in the caravanning industry and is already available in over 20 markets. “We have established quality, modern styling and fair prices as a common denominator,” explains Christian Striebel, Managing Director of Etrusco GmbH. “With our flair for trends, we create style ranges based on harmonious natural tones, smart details and functionality that create a real holiday atmosphere inside each motorhome. In doing so, we appeal above all to potential customers who are looking for fun, variety and something different.” Etrusco’s vision is to revolutionise the way people travel by developing high-quality, affordable motorhomes that are both highly functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Since its foundation in 2016, Etrusco has been growing steadily in all areas. The company’s management has always had a clear vision in mind – to bring the fascination of mobile travel to life in the form of stylish motorhomes and camper vans with affordable price tags. The resulting designs and colour schemes are based on the latest living and furnishing trends and reflect the current zeitgeist. In addition, Etrusco places a major emphasis on its vehicles’ functionality and intelligent interior designs. With their extensive standard equipment and high-quality materials, Etrusco motorhomes also offer excellent value for money. Etrusco relies on a holistic design concept in which the traveller is the focal point.
A brand name that reveals the company’s roots
The name “Etrusco” derives from the Etruscan people who lived in north-central Italy during ancient times. They were renowned for their ability to create elegant and durable works of art as well as their advanced technology. Likewise, Etrusco motorhomes reflect this philosophy through their unique combination of Italian design and efficient manufacturing.
Etrusco motorhomes are primarily produced in Tuscany near Florence/Italy. The company’s production plant is among the most advanced factories in Europe and belongs to the Erwin Hymer Group. By drawing on the Group’s extensive experience in motorhome production, Etrusco has successfully introduced lean and efficient production processes and thus established quality, modern styling and fair prices as a common denominator.
In recent years, Etrusco has become an established brand in the European motorhome market. In addition to its headquarters in Leutkirch i.A., Germany, the company has a modern network of production facilities and dealers throughout Europe as well as Japan and New Zealand.
Current models in focus
One key attribute of Etrusco is its product range, which is tailored to the various needs and preferences of its customers. From compact semi-integrated vehicles to luxurious fully integrated motorhomes, Etrusco offers a wide range of models that ensure outstanding quality, comfort and functionality.
The focus is currently on Ford-based vans and semi-integrated models. From city trips to beach life, Etrusco’s current van range is characterised by striking designs aimed primarily at motorhome customers who value flexibility. The various Etrusco van models meet different travel requirements. Above all, thanks to their width of just 2.14 m, these narrow semi-integrated models are compact and dynamic travel companions that offer everything you need for active adventures. The company has expanded its compact range to include affordable Renault-based models.
Whether alone, as a couple or with the family: the semi-integrated T 6.9 SF and T 6900 SB motorhomes have won plenty of admirers. Both models offer lots of living space within a total length of just under 7 m. A restful night’s sleep is ensured thanks to two single beds with a length of up to 2 m. Up to five berths are possible with the optional pull-down bed and a convertible bed in the seating group. The functional Vario bathroom as well as the modern kitchen with a generous 137-litre refrigerator leave nothing to be desired.
In autumn 2023, Etrusco will launch its first urban camper based on the Renault Trafic, which is ideal for daily use in city traffic, spontaneous weekend excursions and mobile working. This new vehicle type – the UC 5.0 XR – combines the key features of a camper van and a daily driver. It has a length of 5.08 metres and can accommodate up to four berths. The interior includes a dynamic rail concept with nearly limitless possible uses.
In the current model year, the brand continues to focus on combining innovation with modern materials and appealing designs across all product segments to meet the increasing demands and expectations of the camping community.
